Dr. Rizwan H. Bukhari is a vascular surgeon with over 20 years of experience. He now incorporates plant-based nutrition into his Patient Lifestyle Modification Plan. He also teaches about the relationship between lifestyle and common diseases.
Maya is an educator and plant-based advocate. She is certified in Plant-Based Nutrition through eCornell and in Dr. McDougall Dietary Therapy course for reversing common diseases. She is currently taking the Rouxbe Professional Plant-Based Culinary course.

What is the purpose for a pod? To build stronger, healthier, and more sustainable communities by supporting and educating their local communities about the benefits of a whole food, plant-based lifestyle though Pod meetings and projects. All Pods are part of the PlantPure Communities Pod Network and work together as a grassroots movement to encourage all people to eat whole plant-based foods and reduce or eliminate their consumption of animal products, including meat, dairy, fish, and eggs, and also processed food, such as sugar and oil.
We now offer monthly walks in various areas.
